MANSEHRA, Jan 28: The district administration has constituted a committee for implementation of the Peshawar High Court verdict about fee concession for one of the two brothers or sisters studying in a same school or college.
In this connection, district coordination officer Amber Ali Khan chaired a meeting of heads of private schools and colleges here on Saturday. The DCO took strong notice of complaints lodged with him by parents concerning no fee concession allowed to their children.
He said that representatives of the private schools and colleges had announced to follow the apex court decision about charging half fee from the second brother or sister studying in a same institution. He said that action would be taken against schools not implementing the court decision.
A committee, headed by assistant coordination officer, was also constituted during the meeting to oversee implementation of the court verdict. The meeting also decided that the schools and colleges would receive one-time admission fee from the students.
POWER SUPPLY: Minister of state Sardar Shahjahan Yousuf on Saturday inaugurated Rs1.2 million electricity supply scheme here in Ichrian area. MPA Wajeeh-uz-Zaman and elders of the area were also present on the occasion.
Mr Yousuf said that the electricity supply was given to several areas of Siren valley during last three years. He said that all conspiracies against the government would fail and it would complete its tenure with the support of people.
He said that the 20th amendment was submitted to parliament for creation of more provinces and soon it would initiate debate on the issue.
Mr Wajeeh said that ending corruption from the country was of utmost importance and people should vote for honest leaders in the next general elections so that their problems could be solved.
