MARDAN, Jan 16: The ruling Awami National Party and Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-F have nominated candidates for byelection on NA-9 constituency scheduled to be held on Feb 20.

The ANP nominated former district nazim Hemayatullah Mayar for the seat, while JUI-F announced to field former MNA Maulana Shujaul Mulk for the contest. The seat (NA-9) had fallen vacant after former MNA Khwaja Mohammad Khan Hoti resigned from the National Assembly and joined PTL-Correspondent
