Tailor shot dead

LAHORE, Jan 14: A 40-year-old tailor was shot dead by two unidentified persons on his doorstep in Data Nagar locality of Badami Bagh on Saturday.

The Badami Bagh station house officer said Bashir was shot by two visitors who called the victim outside his house at 9:30am.

Bashir, a tailor by profession and a father of four, was pronounced dead at Mayo Hospital. The SHO said victim's brother Nazir of Faisalabad stated in the FIR that the suspects reached his brother's house pretending that they had come to deliver the offerings. The victim's wife is a witness to the incident.

He said a case had been registered against unidentified suspects. — Staff Reporter
