KHAIRPUR, Nov 25: The Khairpur police have failed to arrest the main accused of the murder of Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz activist Aziz Phul.

This was said by Mohammad Sharif Phul, the uncle of the deceased, and Shabbir Jamali, the general secretary of the JSQM, at a press conference here on Monday.

They alleged that the authorities were acting partially and trying to save the accused.

They warned that if the accused were not arrested soon, the scale of the protest would be enlarged.

Members of the Arain community of Tando Mir Ali staged a protest against the death of one of their fellow here on Saturday.

A clash had taken place between two groups of the Arain community over diverting drainage water.

Later, both the parties went to the Tando Mir Ali police post.

According to the aggrieved party, their fellow, Mushtaq Arain, had died at the police post due to heart attack and the police said Mushtaq had died before reaching the police post.

ROBBED: Two unidentified armed men robbed a retired SHO, Haq Nawaz, of his motorbike near the Naz High School here on Saturday.
