LAHORE, Dec 29: Four more matches were decided in the second PHF Inter-Academy Hockey Tournament at the Sialkot Hockey Stadium in Sialkot on Thursday.

Two goals each by Mohammad Ali and Nohaiz Zahid helped Sialkot outclass Karachi 5-0. Ali scored in the 4th and 12th minutes, while Nohaiz banged home in the 17th and the 55th minutes with the final goal being scored by Qasim Ahmed in the 60th minute.

Faisalabad defeated Quetta 3-1 after leading 1-0 at the breather. Hassan Anwar (7th minute), M. Shan (53rd), and Mudassar Ali (55th) were the scorers, while M. Qasim reduced the margin for Quetta in the 38th minute.

Lahore outplayed Abbottabad 2-0 after a barren first half with Aqeel Aslam (34th) and Awais-ur-Rehman (53rd) the goal-scorers.

A 43rd minute strike by Atiq Arshad helped Gojra to play a 1-1 draw against Bannu. Fahad had put Bannu ahead by scoring in 29th minute
