Boy found strangled

KASUR, Dec 26: The body of a Class IX student, who went missing from Kot Imam Din village in Kanganpur police precincts on Sunday, was found dumped at a garbage heap on Monday.

The family of Rashid Ali launched a search after he went missing but to no avail. Locals found his body dumped in trash on Monday and informed the police. The boy had apparently been strangled by the killers. The police registered a case against unidentified people.

KILLED: A man was killed after falling from the rooftop of a van in Mustafabad town on Monday.

Hidayat Ali was sitting on the rooftop of Lahore-bound van (KSB-1390). When the van reached near Mustafabad, Ali fell down and was run over by the same van. — Correspondent
