SIALKOT, Nov 23: As many as five men were killed and 25 injured seriously when a speeding bus overturned on Daska-Sialkot Road, near the Imam Bukhari International Islamic University in Daska Tehsil, late Saturday evening.

According to official sources, the bus (Peshawar E-8694) was going to Lahore.

The deceased have not yet been identified. A majority of the injured had to be shifted from Daska Civil Hospital to Sialkot, Gujranwala and Lahore in critical condition.

The condition of Gulsher (20), Mir Mohammad (18), Usmanuddin (26), Mohammad Sadiq (33), Mian Saeed Usman (55), Mohammad Wasim (22), Gul Anwar (70), Abdul Rauf (77), Abdul Rehman (60), Ghazi Rajan (60), Samiullah, Zubair Bukhat, Rasool Mohammad and Ahmad is said to be very serious.

Motra police are investigating the incident.
