THE condition of roads in Quetta is pathetic. One can’t find a single road intact in the entire city of two million inhabitants. The deteriorated condition of important roads like Sariab Road, Zarghoon Road, Samungli Road and Prince Road can always be used as an example.

Dust and stagnant water on roads are causing serious health problems for the people of Quetta and adjoining areas. Interestingly, all MPAs and MNAs elected from Quetta’s constituencies belong to the ruling party. The government should spend a meagre amount from MPAs funds for repairing roads.
