KARACHI, Nov 29: PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said on Tuesday that the government had provided a solid foundation for reforms through the 18th Amendment and NFC Award and vowed to surmount all challenges to strengthen democracy and make the people real masters of their destiny.

Speaking to PPP leaders at Bilawal House on the eve of the 44th founding day of the party, he said the policies of the late Benazir Bhutto would be pursued and all issues would be settled through dialogue and reconciliation.

According to sources, Bilawal Zardari said the PPP had always faced numerous challenges and it would again come out on top after the next elections.

He urged the party members to maintain strong links with the people and try to address their problems.

He called for using technology to put spread the party's message across the country.He also advised PPP workers to maintain an interactive relationship with the media and try to remove misperception about the party.

The PPP chairman emphasised the need for responding to allegations against the party and its leadership.

At this critical juncture when the country was facing internal and international challenges, the whole nation must unite to overcome these challenges, he said.
