RAWALPINDI, Nov 25: A group of 84 illegal Pakistani immigrants deported from different European countries arrived at Benazir Bhutto International Airport on a special flight in the early hours of Friday.

Immigration authorities said they were expelled from Greece, Ireland, United Kingdom, France, Norway, Portugal and other European countries for illegal stay. None had any criminal charge against him.

Still, 189 security officials of the deporting countries escorted them on the special flight EV-JHT from Greece and handed them over to Pakistani immigration authorities on landing at Islamabad airport.

Of 84 deportees, four belonged to Rawalpindi and the rest to Gujranwala division.

Pakistani immigration authorities seized their passports but allowed all of them to go home after recording their statements.
