KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has allocated the portfolio of information to Minister for Electric Power Shazia Marri, a spokesman for the CM House said.

He said the resignation of former information minister Sharjeel Memon had been accepted. Ms Marri would hold the additional charge of the information ministry and a notification to this effect had been issued on Monday evening, he said.

The chief minister allocated the portfolio of special development to Nadeem Bhutto. The portfolio was previously held by Katchi Abadis Minister Rafiq Engineer.
