ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) would face a failure in their next rally in Faisalabad, warned opposition leader in the Punjab Assembly, Raja Riaz on Thursday in Islamabad, DawnNews reported.

Mr Riaz blamed Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif for “the corruption prevailing in Punjab” and the “worsening law and order situation” in the province.

The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) believes in the policy of reconciliation but if the Sharif brothers continue to target the PPP, then the party would respond befittingly, Mr Riaz said.

He appealed to the chief justice to “take notice of the corruption in the province”. He said the Danish schools project in the province had failed and that 12,000 schools had been forced to shut down.
