KARACHI, Oct 30: A young man was wounded while resisting an armed robbery inside a passenger train near Landhi on Sunday night, police said. Fareed Express was passing through the Juma Goth area when Mohammad Ramzan, a contract worker at Dawn canteen, was shot at and wounded by armed bandits who had already looted a number of other passengers.

Following the incident, the train was stopped and the bandits fled.

The victim was heading to Punjab along with a coworker, Zahid.

Later, Ramazan was taken to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre, where he was admitted for treatment.
