KARACHI: Ten car, 16 bikes hijacked

KARACHI, Nov 15 Twenty-six vehicles — 10 cars and 16 motorcycles — were either hijacked or stolen in the city on Friday, police said.

Three cars were hijacked. Four others were stolen.

Six motorcycles were hijacked. Ten others were stolen.

Police also claimed on Fri-day to have recovered five cars and five motorcycles in the city.

ROAD ACCIDENT: A pedestrian died in a road accident in Shah Faisal Colony on late Thursday night.

Police said that Hasan Ali, aged 35, was run over by a speeding Suzuki pick- up, which escaped after the accident.

He died on way to Jinnah Post-graduate Medical Centre (JPMC). The man leaves behind three children.

A young man, Zubair, aged 35, died when he came under the wheels of a moving train near Drigh Road railway station on late Thursday night.
