LARKANA, Oct 28: Former president Gen (retd) Pervez Musharraf made a phone call to Sindh National Front chief Mumtaz Ali Bhutto from the US on Friday to offer condolence on the death of Begum Nusrat Bhutto, according to a spokesman of the NSF.

Chairperson of the Pakistan People’s Party Ghinva Bhutto and Zulfikar Ali Bhutto junior received condolence at Al-Murtaza House. People from different walks of life, including former MPAs Mian Shafiq Ahmed and Dr Bahadur Dahri, offered condolence to them.

Sindh Law Minister Ayaz Soomro, MPA Haji Munawwar Ali Abbasi and other PPP leaders participated in Quran Khwani at the camp office of President House in Naudero.

A provincial minister and an MPA would remain present at the camp office from Friday Oct 29 till 24 November to receive condolence.—Correspondent
