NOWSHERA, Oct 11: A man and his wife were killed and their son was seriously injured when unidentified attackers opened fire on them in the Daag Besud area here on the night between Monday and Tuesday.
The police said the injured man, Fawad, lodged FIR in Pabbi police station saying he along with his father Wajid Ali and mother Bakht Mina was sleeping at home when some assailants entered the house and opened fire on them. He said his father and mother were killed instantly, while he received injuries.
Meanwhile, Nowshera police on Tuesday recovered a schoolteacher who was kidnapped for ransom from Shreen Koto area near Rashaki and arrested an accused.
At a press conference here on Tuesday, DPO Nowshera Mohammad Hussain said Rahmat Shah, a teacher of government high school No.1, was abducted on Monday by some unidentified kidnappers. —Correspondent
