LAHORE, Sept 24: A delegation of the Lahore High Court Bar Association on Saturday called on Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry in Islamabad.

Bar president Asghar Ali Gill, who led the delegation, extended an invitation to the CJP to visit the bar that Justice Chaudhry accepted, said a press release.

Mr Gill discussed with the CJP the problems being faced by lawyers of Lahore and sought their solution. The CJP gave a kind hearing to the bar leaders and lauded the services rendered by lawyers for the rule of law in the country.

The judge assured the lawyers that all available resources would be utilised to resolve the problems of the legal fraternity.
