KARACHI, Sept 19: The NBP Cup basketball tournament gets into action at the Arambagh floodlit courts on Tuesday with 13 teams competing for honours.

The draws include four outstation teams namely Hydrabad, Mirpurkhas, Sukkur and Larkana.

The teams have been drawn into four groups and top two from each will qualify for the quarter-finals.

The event concludes on Sept 28.

Groups: ‘A’: District South Greens, district Central Greens, district West Whites, Larkana. ‘B’: District East Greens, district Central Whites, Hyderabad. C: District Malir, district South Whites, Sukkur. D: Mirpurkhas, district East Whites, district West Greens.

Tuesday’s fixtures: South Whites v Malir at 5.30pm; East Greens v Central Whites at 6.30pm; South Greens v West Whites at 7.30pm.
