LAHORE, Sept 8: Two railways officials were taken into custody on Thursday for their alleged involvement in the theft of 4,000 kg copper wire worth over Rs2.5 million it is learnt.
The officials were nabbed from Jhelum during a raid by Pakistan Railways Police and shifted to some unknown place for interrogation.
DIG Munir Ahmad Chishti confirmed the nabbing of the suspects but refused to either disclose their identity or ranks.
