KARACHI, Oct 29: The city government has launched a programme to dispose of, through open auction, various plots lying vacant in different localities to generate revenue for carrying out development schemes.
The city government expects income of hundreds of millions of rupees from the sale of these plots as it has earned Rs140 million through auctions held on Oct 25, 26 and 28.
These plots were got vacated from the land mafia and encroachers.— PPI
