CHARSADDA, June 25: The additional district and sessions judge, Ms Nusrat Yasmeen, here on Saturday sentenced an accused to 20 years rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs50,000 in a robbery and car snatching case.

Following conclusion of arguments, the court observed that prosecution had proved its case against the accused, Sajjad Khan, and the evidence on record connected him with the commission of the offence.

The court acquitted Asghar Ali, another accused in the same case, owing to lack of evidence.— Correspondent
