KARACHI, June 23: Shahzad Mohammadan and Salaar Welfare Centre moved to the next round of the All-Karachi Korangi Baloch Challenge Cup Football Tournament after beating their respective opponents at the Korangi Baloch Stadium here on Wednesday.

Shazad Mohammadan Malir edged out Muslim Star Landhi 1-0 with Zahid Khan scoring the decider in the 45th minute.

In the other match, Salaar Welfare Centre beat Gul Baloch Malir 5-0. The goals for the winners were scored by Abdul Haleem (15th and 40th mins), Mohammad Asif (20th and 50th mins) and Mohammad Akram (27th min).

The matches were supervised by referees Abdul Ghafoor, Shafi Mohammad, Abdul Latif and Rustam Baloch with Rafiq Baloch as the match commissioner.
