CHARSADDA, June 12: Eight people among them a woman and a proclaimed offender were killed in separate incidents here the other day.

A man identified as Muneer shot dead a woman, Robeena, wife of Javed and Alamgir in an honour-related incident. The area people alleged that the woman and the man had developed illegal relation. The Mandani police registered case against Muneer and others.

A proclaimed offender, Dost Mohammad, was gunned down by his rivals in Sherpao village.

Unknown assailants opened fire on a man identified as Bagistan of Khwajawas Korona in Tangi area and fled.

In Azizkhel area Ghar Tariq shot dead his brother, Falak Naz, after exchange of hot words with him. Assadullha, another brother of the deceased, registered a report with the police.

Saddam, son of Fazal Hussain, a student of a private school, was crushed by a pick-up van on Nowshera-Charsadda road.

A nine-year-old girl, Zarqa, daughter of Gul Jan, died due to gastroenteritis while her brother, Majan Ali, was hospitalised.

A Wapda lineman, Qazi Naseerul Haq, was electrocuted while doing repair work at a transformer in Shiekhabad Rajar. He felled down from the pole after electric shock and died on the spot.
