Yes, you can improve

This is with reference to the article Yes, you can improve (YW, May 21, 2011). The article contained many suggestions on how to switch to good habits from bad ones and influenced me to overcome my bad habits as well.

I used to get angry very quickly, but now after reading the article I am trying to overcome my anger. So I would like to encourage other readers to also try to overcome their bad habits if they have any, like using slang or abusive language, being

lazy, or not having the meals on proper times. Believe me friends, if you can overcome your bad habits today, you will have no regrets tomorrow.

Taming a bull

This is with reference to the article Taming a Bull by Wajiha Rehan (YW, March 12, 2011). I enjoy reading her articles and found this one to be very useful. I too was once bullied by my classmate and now he is my good friend as I applied all the things discussed in the article and now my life is good.

Young World is one of the best magazines for children and a great source for them to enhance their knowledge, reading, skills and vocabulary.

Star struck

I jumped with excitement when I saw the cover page, titled Star Struck, and the article Living the dream by Zahrah Hassan (YW, May 14, 2011).

It was really interesting and wonderful. I hope many other readers would agree with me on this and would also want to know more about Hollywood actors like Miranda Cosgrove, Dakota Fanning, Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Robert Pattinson, Logan Lermen, Kresten Stewart, etc.

I would also suggest to the YW team to include articles on famous movies like the Harry Potter series, Twilight Saga and on stars such as Daniel Radcliffe, Robert Pattinson, Kresten Stewart, etc.

Everyone is important

I like the stories in the YW magazine very much and this is with reference to the story Everyone is important by Saba Farhan (YW, June 4, 2011).

The story was written very nicely and it was very interesting to read that the fruits talked and shared their feelings. The story highlighted an important aspect that every living thing feels pain so we should not hurt anything in anyway.

We should handle vegetables and fruits with care and throwing them roughly on the ground not only shows how ill-mannered we are but also shows our disrespect to the living things.

Increase the pages

The weather may be hot outside but as soon as I read YW, everything turns cool and colourful. It is for certain that YW is an excellent magazine but one thing makes me sad and hurts, and which is why I am writing this.

Many kids have requested YW team to increase the pages of the magazine, but I haven’t seen any changes so far. Therefore, it is my request to the YW team to consider all the previous as well as this request and do something to increase the pages of our favourite magazine.

Flowers

I am a regular reader of the YW magazine, and this is the first time I am writing. This is the wonderful magazine and  as I am a nature lover, I like all the articles related to nature in any way.

But I would like to request the YW team to include a column about flowers and the ways in which we can grow them and can also use them.

Disappointing grades

This is regarding the article Dealing with disappointing grades by Hafsah Sarfaraz (YW, June 4, 2011). The article was quite helpful in improving one’s study habits as it discussed many points which, if followed, could lead to success in the academic life.

I am sure those who had some bad experience in this year will surely learn to do better and improve their grades in future.
