TAXILA, June 4: Wah Cantonment police on Saturday foiled a bid to smuggle 43-kilogram charas to the Punjab and arrested two alleged smugglers.

While addressing a press conference at Wah Cantonment police station on Saturday, DSP Raja Taifoor Akhter said that on a tip-off, the police party intercepted a car (bearing number SLG-465) on Wah Cantt-Hazara Road near Mohra Nasiro picket and on thorough search, recovered 43kg charas from the hidden parts of the vehicle. — Correspondent
