ISLAMABAD: PML-N Chief Mian Nawaz Sharif said on Thursday that independent probes should be launched for the Abbottabad raid as well as the attack on Karachi’s PNS Mehran base, DawnNews reported.

Speaking to the media at the Islamabad airport, Sharif said that the PNS Mehran attack should be taken as seriously as the raid that took place in Abbottabad by the US. He said that not implementing a Parliament resolution was a very serious matter.

He said that if Pakistan wanted to fix matters itself then it also must also adopt the notion of accountability.

Sharif said that several generations of Pakistan have been buried under debt and now it was now crucial to stop begging the world for aid.
