ATTOCK, May 17: Two Nato oil tankers were burnt near Khor village on Talagang-Attock Road on Monday, police said.

But police officials maintained that “unknown drivers and conductors” of the oil tankers were allegedly involved in the incident. They said the initial probe revealed that the drivers and conductors “stole oil” from tankers near the Fatehjang police station and escaped.

In a similar incident on May 13 an oil tanker was torched near Millal village. Police have registered a case against the driver and conductor, who had escaped after the tanker was burnt. —Correspondent
