LAHORE: Four more matches were decided in the third PHF Junior Super Hockey League at the National Hockey Stadium here on Thursday.

In the first match, Lahore registered a 3-0 triumph over Quetta after taking 1-0 lead in the first half. Ali Hamza (25th minute), Arslan Sherazi (51st) and Hafiz Sardar (65th) were the other scorers.

PHF Academy, meanwhile, also carved out a 3-1 win against Faisalabad. The winners led the first half 1-0.

Daud Khalid (8th), Zohaib Ashraf (41st) and Ali Hassan (65th) struck one goal each. Waseem Abbas (65th) scored the consolation goal for the losing team.

In the third match, two goals from Safir Hussain steered Multan to a resounding 6-1 victory over Peshawar.

Safir banged home in the 56th and 58th minutes while Faisal Qadir (7th), Arslan Qadir (17th), Khurram Shahzad (41st) and Umar Hamdi (69th) were the other scorers. Samiullah Sadiq (39th) scored the lone goal for Peshawar.

In the last encounter of the day, Karachi trounced Sialkot 2-0 with Ali Nouman (16th) and Zohaib Azeem (58th) scoring for the Karachi side. Friday's fixtures:

Faisalabad v Peshawar; Sialkot v Multan; Lahore v Karachi; Quetta v PHF Academy.
