ISLAMABAD, Oct 15: Pakistan’s medal winners at the 14th Asian Games that came to a close in Busan Monday are to be given cash incentives.

Although a summary of incentives to be given to the successful athletes is awaiting approval, Pakistan’s solitary gold winner, boxer Mehrullah is likely to be richer by Rs 500,000. Similarly the silver medalists stand to earn Rs 300,000 each and bronze winners will pick up Rs 150,000.

In the team competitions the silver medalists could get as much as Rs 150,000 each and the third-placed side Rs 100,000 per person.
