The police said the crossfire resulted in the death of an outlaw, later identified as Shehzad Maseeh of Jattowakal village. Two unidentified accomplices of the killed outlaw fled the scene, the police said.

According to police, Shehzad was wanted in several robbery cases and carried a Rs0.2 million head money.

Police have recovered a Kalashnikov, hundreds of bullet rounds and two hand grenades from the scene.

Lalamusa Sadar police have registered a case against the outlaws.
