MMA workers celebrate success

NAWABSHAH, Oct 13: The Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal staged a rally at Regal Chowk here on Saturday to celebrate their party’s success in the polls.

The rally, which began from the Kabeer Mosque, was addressed by some of the prominent MMA leaders.

They dispersed peacefully after the interference of the police.

DERAILMENT: An bogie of 18-Up oil special train derailed on the main railway track between Bandhi and Darya Khan Mari railway stations early Sunday morning.

No loss was reported and the track was cleared in a short while.

ARRESTED: Qazi Ahmed police have arrested four contractors of the Eco-West Company (National Highway Authority) for attacking the company’s manager on Saturday.

An FIR was lodged by Tariq Ali, the manager of the Eco-West Company at the Qazi Ahmed police station.

The names of the arrested persons are: Bismillah, Saeed, Saleem, Shahi and Azam.
