KARACHI, Oct 11: The Inspector General of Police, Sindh, Syed Kamal Shah has lauded the services of the police during the elections in the province, said a press release issued here on Friday.

He said that the elect-ions overall were peaceful, with no major untoward incident.

Stressing upon police officers and jawans to toil hard in performing their duties, he announced a grand party for the Sindh Police of all regions after the results of the elec-tions were in, so as to encourage them.

The IGP said that the next few days were important also, and asked all police personnel to keep on with their responsibilities efficiently.—PPI
