RIO DE JANEIRO: Ronaldinho is really enjoying his return to Brazilian football especially now that it's Carnival time.

Ronaldinho went to Rio's traditional Sambadrome on two different nights and paraded with three samba groups, being cheered by the thousands of fans watching the celebrations.

Ronaldinho was one of the stars for the Grande Rio and the Mangueira groups on Sunday, and for the Portela group on Monday, the same day he also participated in a street carnival group that he helped create.

Ronaldinho has been a key player for popular Brazilian club Flamengo since transferring from AC Milan in the beginning of the year.

Retired striker Ronaldo and several other football players also enjoyed the famed parades in Rio and Sao Paulo.
