MARDAN, Feb 21: Four persons were killed by unidentified attackers in two separate incidents here on Monday, police officials said. Officials of Takhtbai Police Station quoted Ikhtiyar Ali as saying that his father, Jahanzib, and brother Murad Ali along with their friend Mumtaz Hussain were going to Peshawar when some unknown assailants opened fire on their car near Paru village, killing all of them on the spot. Ikhtiyar Ali told police that they had no enmity with anybody.

The police registered FIR against unidentified killers on the complaint of Ikhtiyar Ali and started efforts to arrest the killers.

In the other incident, some unidentified men gunned down Syed Khalid Hussain of Lizatabad area who was taking meal in a hotel at Par Hoti chowk.
