42 outlaws arrested

ISLAMABAD, Feb 5: As many as 42 people were arrested by Margalla police during the last month.

The police recovered stolen cars and other valuables from their possession, a police spokesman said.

SP Saddar Zone Dr Khurram Rasheed on the direction of SSP Tahir Alam Khan intensified patrolling and vigilance in the area to curb ant-social activities.

He also constituted police teams under the supervision of Sub-Divisional Police Officer ASP Faisal Bashir Memon which arrested 23 persons involved in heinous crime and recovered five cars, five pistols, one motorbike, mobile phones, gold ornaments and cash from their possession.

The Margalla police also arrested four proclaimed offenders. — Staff Reporter
