FC man killed

QUETTA, Feb 1: A security man was killed and two others injured in a clash between Frontier Corps personnel and armed men in Dasht Gokadal area of Turbat district on Tuesday. Sources said that armed men attacked an FC patrol and when security personnel retaliated they fled the scene.

The security men chased the armed men who took refuge in a house.

The armed men opened fire when FC and police personnel cordoned off the house, killing a soldier and injuring two others.

However, security personnel eventually entered the house and arrested two men.

Official sources said that police and FC seized illegal arms and ammunition from the house.

The deceased FC man was identified as Naik Amar. The injured soldiers were taken to Quetta.
