KARACHI, Feb 1: Chanesar Blue and Burma Mohammadan scored wins in the two Group 'A' matches played in the 8th Karachi Football League at the Baloch Mujahid Stadium on Monday evening.
Match no 66 of the league saw Chanesar Blue outclassing Orangi Mohammadan 7-2. The goals for the winners were scored by Abdul Sattar (11th min), Saifullah (29th and 90th min), Fareed Ahmed (44th and 88th mins), Mahmood Lasi (89th min) and Shoukat Ali (72nd min). Mohammad Abrar (27th min) and Mohammad Jameel (64th min) reduced the margin for Orangi Mohammadan. Fareed Ahmed of Chanesar Blue was later declared the Man of the Match.Match no 67 was played between Burma Mohammedan and FC Rovers which the former won 2-1. Both the goals for Burma Mohammadan were scored by Saifullah (38th and 75th mins), who was also named the Man of the Match later while Sarosh Saghir (51st min) of FC Rovers reduced the margin for them.
