ISLAMABAD, Jan 31: The capital police arrested four persons in different areas of the city and recovered narcotics, liquor and weapons from their possession.

SI Arshad Mehmud from Tarnol police station arrested a drug peddler and recovered one kg hashish and five bottles of liquor from his possession.

A vehicle (RIF-599) was impounded after its driver fled when he was stopped at a checkpost for routine checking. Police recovered 120 gram hashish from the vehicle.

ASI Zafar Iqbal of Tarnol police arrested Islamuddin for possessing the liquor bottles while SI Mohammad Tehseeen recovered a 30-bore pistol along with three rounds from Abid Ali and arrested him.—Staff Reporter
