HARIPUR, Jan 29: Two persons committed suicide in different areas of the district here on Friday night.

Police said that 18-year-old Jamshed Sarwar Khan committed suicide in Mohalla Gulshan Abad Dingi of Kotnajibullh area on Friday night.

According to his father, Jamshed used to sleep in the cattle pen and as per routine he went there but did not return home on Saturday morning. His family members found his body hanging from the ceiling fan.

They said that the deceased was short tempered. He had exchanged harsh words with his elder brother over some domestic issue few days ago.

In the second incident, another young man,Wajid Alim, 23, of village Tarnawa, committed suicide using the same method in Khanpur area. The reason behind suicide was joblessness of the deceased, family members said.
