LAHORE, Jan 29: The National U-19 Junior hockey championship will be played in Bahawalpur from Feb 26.
The Pakistan Hockey Federation will select Pakistan under-19 team from it for the Asia Cup.
A good number of teams, namely Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, Islamabad, FATA, Army, NBP, Railways, Customs, Pakistan Boards, Navy, PAF, PIA, Port Qasim, KESC, Police, Wapda, SSGC, Steel Mills, HBL and PTV will take part.
The PHF has appointed age credentials check committee and Nadra staff to verify ages of the players.
The committee comprises Rana Mujahid Ali, Malik Shafqat, Shahid Ali Khan and Khawaja Junaid.
