KARACHI: Bihar Colony (UC-7) and Singalone (UC-9) reached the semi-finals of the KESC Lyari Football League after beating their respective opponents at the Shaheed Abdul Rehman Park here on Thursday.

Bihar Colony beat Nawalane (UC-11) 2-0 in the first quarter-final. Both the goals for the winners were scored by Maam Jan (42nd and 46th mins).

In the second semi-final, Singalone beat Daryabad (UC-2) 4-2. The first goal for the winners came in the form of an own goal by Daryabad's defender Idrees Rehman in the fourth minute. The rest came through Singalone's Mujahid (27th min), A. Hai (64th min) and Mohammad Ali (70+2 min). For Daryabad, Ameer Bakhsh (42nd min) and Mujahid (54th min) reduced the margins.

The matches were supervised by Abdul Aziz, Abdul Karim, Dad Rehman, Ansar Javed, Farid Ahmed, Ansar Javed, Shahid Ismail and Jalal Ahmed under Match Commissioner Yaqoob Baloch.
