SHIKARPUR, Jan 19: Police found two sisters who had been kidnapped from Punjab in Abdul Rehman Shar village near Garhi Yasin on Wednesday.

A police official said that Shahnaz alias Nasreen, 17, and Parveen, 9, of Sira-i-Mughal village near Patoki, had been kidnapped by their relative Mohammad Ashraf Machhi two years ago.

They were sold to an alleged bandit named Asad Shar who was arrested by police a few days ago. Shahnaz, who was forced to marry Asad, gave birth to a son six months ago.

Police raided the village and found the two sisters in the house of Asad.
