KARACHI, Oct 2: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement has promised to change the educational system, which presently infuses hatred and projects certain kings and generals as war heroes.

The promise was made by the MQM candidate from NA-245, Kunwar Khalid Yunus while addressing a corner meeting of the party at Qadri Market in North Nazimabad.

He was critical of the Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal, and said that when the MQM youth were being eliminated through extra-judicial killings between 1994 and 1996, none of the religious party leaders raised their voice against such killings.

Yunus also recalled the services of the MQM cadre and leaders for the uplift of the city.
