ISLAMABAD, Jan 15: Saima Shaukat defeated Rushna Mahboob 3-2 in a C-division squash league match at the Mushaf Squash Complex on Saturday.

Saima from the Shalimar Club mounted pressure right from the first game, winning it 11-3 but Rushna from the Roshan Khan Club made a good comeback in the second game, winning it 11-8.

Saima, however, continued her top form, sending Rushna out of the court with 11-4 score in the third game.

Though, Saima could not sustain few long rallies against Rushna in the fourth game, losing it 11-13, she played better drop-shots in the last game, winning it 11-8.

In the girl’s second fixture, Ayesha Ali from the Falcon Club got a walkover against Anusha Khan from the Safari Club.
