ISLAMABAD, Jan 12: The Competition Commission of Pakistan (CCP) has brought within the law a company for violating the Competition Act, which claimed to provide 100 per cent hair fall treatment within fifteen days of the use of the medicine it was advertising.

The enquiry conducted by the CCP concluded that RITS Incorporation failed to provide any substantial evidence in support of its claim and was therefore, prima facie, in violation of section 10 of the Competition Act, 2010, a press release said.

A show cause notice gives the company fifteen days to file a written reply and appear before CCP on February 1, 2011.
