ISLAMABAD, Jan 10: The youth drama festival will conclude on Tuesday with a certificate distribution ceremony to encourage professional skills and talent of the youth.

Featuring the innovative ideas of stage plays, youngsters from various educational institutions of twin cities and Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) drama art workshop showcased their skills in the field of performing arts.

“Pakistani drama is considered as the best in the world and training of youth in this field with introduction of young minds can maintain its identity and further strengthen its status,” said PNCA Director-General Tauqeer Nasir.

Young male and female artists gave their best performances during the festival with plays that highlighted social issues with soft expressions.

These plays carried some stories and messages that combine strong references of social issues with proper techniques of acting, facial expressions, dialogue delivery and script.

The festival was organised by PNCA and the Ministry of Culture as part of its programmes for promoting young talent in the field of performing art.—APP
