LAHORE, Dec 27: Wapda were held to a 2-2 draw by PAF at the 31st National Games’ football tournament on Monday.
Wapda dominated the game as PAF came back twice to fire the leveller.
Arif Mehmood put Wapda in front with 18th minute strike but Mohammad Mujahid reduced the margin in the 59th minute.
Tauseef Ahmed restored Wapda’s advantage with brilliant 64th minute strike.
PAF came back strongly and once again Mujahid scored in the 82nd minute.
Meanwhile, Army beat Navy 1-0. Shakil Yousuf netted the goal in the 18th minute.
On Tuesday, Army and Wapda will play the first semi-final while PAF will collide with Navy in the other semi-final.—APP
