BVS celebrates sports day

KARACHI, Nov 11: The 141st annual athletic sports day of BVS Parsi school was celebrated at the KPI Sunday. Lancelot House emerged champion with 249 points. They were followed by Soparivala House with 208 points. Quaid-i-Azam House finished third 195 points while Razashah Pahelvi House ended up four with 174 points.

Wasiq Zia, house captain of Quaid-i-Azam, contributed 24 points in his house’s 195 points. He won two track and field events, including marathon and 800m. Besides, he was also member of the cricket, volleyball and badminton teams that picked gold.

Hammad Ali, house captain Lancelot House, contributed 26 points while winning the 400m. Hammad was also member of gold medal winning Tug-of-War, football and table tennis teams.

Captain Dr R.Q Hamid was the chief guest and distributed prizes amongst the winners.
