SWABI, Dec 24: A man and a boy were killed in separate incidents here on Friday. The first incident occurred in Asota area.

Registering FIR at Kalu Khan police station, Zahid Khan, injured brother of the deceased Fazal Amin, said that he along with his brother and uncle, Said Amin, were working in a mine when Saddam of the same region came there and opened fire over them.

Zahid Khan said that his brother was killed on the spot; he received bullet injuries and his uncle survived the attack.

The cause of the incident was stated to be an alleged altercation between Fazal Amin and Said Amin over some trivial issue.

The second incident happened in Jalbai region of Tehsil Chota Lahor where a youngster Zahir Shah was killed by unidentified culprits. His body was thrown in open fields. Brother of the deceased, Noor Wali Shah registered FIR in Chota Lahor police station against unidentified killers, saying that they had no enmity with anyone. CULPRITS ARRESTED: Police claimed on Friday to have arrested the two culprits who snatched two Kalashnikovs and cell phones from two policemen on Dec 13 during night patrol on Zarobai-Kalabat road.

Constables, Said Nazir and Mohammad Sardar of the Kalabat police post, were patrolling the region while riding a motorcycle. When they reached Akram Banda, the culprits snatched Kalashnikovs from them.

Police said that they raided Tordher region on a tip-off and arrested Fazal Hayat and Muhammad Hanif, and recovered the grabbed Kalashnikovs and other objects from them.
