CHAKWAL, Dec 20: Six persons, including four women, were booked on the charges of threatening a female teacher and obstructing her in performing her duty, it has been learnt. Zafar Iqbal, Kamran Zafar, Fehmida, Maqsooda, Farzana and Naheed allegedly assaulted Sajida, the head teacher of a primary school in Miyani village, a few days ago.

Ms Sajida told this correspondent that Zafar Iqbal had filed a fake complaint against her a year back levelling some allegations against her.

She said on Wednesday the police inquiry cleared her of the case. After this, Zafar Iqbal along with his son Kamran and four women of his family entered the school and harassed her. She alleged that Zafar also beat her. — Correspondent
